Anthony Voulgarides (he/his) (Mr. V.) is an English teacher and instructional leader passionate about developing culturally responsive and project-based curricula that value rigor, community partnerships, and student voice. Anthony believes education is an essential tool for social justice, learning should be authentic in both process and product, and relationships are at the core of everything. For the last 19 years, Anthony has worked in New York City’s 6th-12th grade public school classrooms, asking his students to consider their own role in shaping the world they live in.  Along with teaching, he is currently a doctoral student (Ed.D) at CUNY Hunter College, pursuing an interest in critical media pedagogy and deeper learning.
