The Data Driven Student: Cultivating Reflective, Evaluative Learners (Part 1 of 2)

Data plays a crucial role in guiding educational outcomes. How might leaders and educators empower and equip students to use data as the drivers of their learning journey? Enabling students to examine their own data can significantly transform learning environments. This approach helps students become self-directed learners who develop a better understanding of their performance, take responsibility for their learning, and feel a greater sense of ownership over their success. Drawing on research from Hattie, Vygotsky, Bandura, and Eccles, among others, participants will develop a framework to cultivate data-driven students who are reflective learners who measure their growth and track their progress along their educational journeys.
